Today we had an early start to get to Schonbrunn Palace by 8.30 am for our audio guide tour. The palace is located outside of the main city centre and is absolutely immense. The landscaped grounds have formal gardens, huge fountains, forests, the Vienna Zoo, L’Orangerie and garden maze with playground.after our guide through the Palace of Emperor Franz Josef and his wife Elisabeth, last of the Habsburg Dynasty, we had lots of fun finding our way through the mazes and playing on the equipment in the playground.
