It is approximately a 14 hour flight to Doha in Qatar for a stop over and then another 6 hours from Doha to Berlin, so:
  • Bring comfortable flat roomy shoes to wear in the plane
  • Qatar airlines has an extensive entertainment system but you can also bring a book to read, or listen to your own music.
  • It can get chilly on the plane, so pack a jumper or jacket. Blankets and small pillows are provided by the airlines.
  • You might like to bring a neck pillow for a more comfortable sleep
  • Pack a toothbrush, small toothpaste, hair brush, tissues and small lip gloss in your cabin bag.
  • Pack an empty water bottle and fill it on the plane. You do get complimentary water from airline.
  • Make sure you have a pen so you can fill out departure details from Sydney and entry details for Qatar and Germany.
  • Make sure you have your travel diary with you on the plane so you can add to it.
  • We may have a hotel stopover in Qatar before our flight to Berlin, so you can have a short sleep and shower so bring a change of clothes. Suitcases will probably be held at the airport for the next flight so pack the change of clothes in your cabin baggage.
