Despite Switzerland, Vienna would have to be the chocolate capital of the world. As a special treat, we attended a chocolate making workshop at Heindl and the Schoko Museum. We had a tour through the processing plant, sampling lots of chocolate on the way and then made our own chocolate balls using marzipan, chocolate nougat, hazelnuts, coconut and chocolate sprinkles. Later we went through the museum, seeing the cocoa tree and how the seeds are dried and processed to make the chocolate. To finish up, we were given spoons to sample from a white, milk and dark chocolate fountain!
