On arrival this afternoon, we settled into our new accommodation at the Ibis Wenceslas Square and then put on our walking shoes and headed to the Alfons Mucha Museum. Mucha is a famous Czech artist known for his graceful posters of women in his Art Nouveau style. His posters often advertised a theatrical event or a product. His linear designs of women with curvy flowing strands of hair were a hit with our group, buying an assortment of souvenirs from the gift shop.
Afterwards we visited the Hamley Toy Store, a visually exciting place much like Disneyland come Luna Park. Lots of interactive games and devices to try before you buy.
