Travel Insurance and Passport Documentation Due

Each traveller on the 2018 Art Culture tour should have received documentation for group travel insurance and passports. This paperwork needs to be completed ASAP and returned to the Creative Arts staffroom or individually to Mrs Gettens, Ms McGurgan or Mrs Melville.
Completed travel insurance documentation and copy of passports need be sent to Worldstrides Travel by 25 July so it is essential that all paperwork is received before this date.

All Deposits received

Thank you to everyone for getting your deposits for the art tour in so promptly. WorldStrides has received them and will process them by the end of the week.
The next stage will be filling in paperwork for Worldstrides and documentation for the Department of Education.
Passports are required to be valid 6 months past the return date of the trip.
If your passport will expire before this time, or you do not have one, you need to start applying for a new passport straight away.
Delay in getting a new passport will affect the group as a whole as documentation cannot be processed until every member of the art tour has a valid passport.

"Airline tickets cannot be issued without all passports being sighted by WorldStrides and there can be no exceptions. This is a strict policy set by the airlines and supported by WorldStrides. Groups must be ticketed together, and therefore any late passports will cause delay of documentation for the entire group.
Quite often students will not have a valid passport and therefore they will need to obtain one to participate on the tour. It is quite common for parents and students to underestimate the importance of their passport and the length of time required for obtaining one.
We suggest if you have not already done so, to get started immediately. Passport applications forms can be obtained from Australia Post. Generally, Australia Post will require you to make an appointment with your child to complete the application process."

Welcome!

From the remnants of the Berlin Wall, the neoclassical beauty of the Reichstag and the austere building designs of Germany's capital; to the medieval castle, cobblestoned streets and astronomical clocktower of Prague; to the centre of the Viennese Secession art movement, home of the royal Habsburg dynasty and classical music capital of Vienna, we will immerse ourselves in European culture. We will learn new words in German and Czech, experience a diversity of food, use different currency and soak up the European lifestyle.
Be prepared for an amazing journey that you will never forget!
